Famous Apparel City: Guangzhou

Guangzhou is the capital city of Guangdong Province. With a prosperous economy and large population, Guangzhou has many industries.

The most famous is undoubtedly the garment industry.

It is mainly characterized by fast-fashion clothing, and several large clothing wholesale markets are located here.

In Guangzhou, you will see many foreigners engaged in wholesale clothing, attracted by new stock and inventory.

Garment factories in Guangzhou are mainly concentrated in the following districts: Shahe District, Shisanhang District, West District and Eighth children’s clothing.

The city also features a large fabric market – Guangzhou International Textile City.

It is near Zhongshan University. Chinese always call it the “Zhongda” fabric market, and many factories will arrange to have their buyers come here every day to choose fabric.
