Hightlights:

ü Chungming Island, Ecological Island on the Pacific Coast, the hometown of Longevity,  is at the mouth of the Yantze River; Driving through the whole island will give you a awesomely beautiful view of coutryside and extremely relaxing tour.

ü Drive through the only connection between central Shanghai and the island----the 8.95 long kilometers Shanghai Yangtze River Tunnel and the 16.65 long kilometers Bridge.

ü Go to see the sunrise in Dongtan Wetland Park.

Duration: A whole Day

Route:

Day 1

ü Leave the meeting point for the Farm at 8 a.m, normally around 2 hours on the journey;

ü Follow the guide to see the exhibitions in the farm; Planting; Vegetables harvesting (1kg); Animals Feeding; Outdoor Plant Maze, Obstacle Course, Kids’ Playground; Indoor Mini Golf (2 hours) & Sand Play; DIY Activity.

ü Lunch: Farm Fresh Hotpot for each people;

ü Free time. You could choose to do horse-riding (there is a horse-riding club which is around 8 minutes from the farm by walking) or fishing, or walk around yourself in the island, or cycle on the island;

ü In the late afternoon, drive to a local bazaar to have an in-depth experience with local villagers, as there are few outsiders in this island, it’s native. You could try some specialty, which are very popular in Shanghai, but hard to be found because of high transportation fees.

ü Have dinner yourself. Dinner is exclusive. You could choose to have outside BBQ at the farm. If you want to have BBQ, you could ask the farm to prepare the ingredients and you pay to them, or you could buy in local bazaar.

Day 2

ü You could choose to get up early to see the sun-rising at Dongtan Wetland Park;

ü Breakfast at the farm;

ü Leave the farm at 10:30 a.m; then drive to Dongping National Forest Park;

ü Have a group lunch 

ü Drive through the whole island to the west, visit Chongming Museum, which is also called Confucius Temple; then Xisha Wetland. Xisha Wetland, is identified as the end of the Longest River in the Whole Asia--the Yangtze River, which is flowing into the East China Sea.

ü Back to the starting point in Shanghai.

Two Adults, one night in the Mongolian Yurt, US $ 300;

Two Adults, one night in the Standard Room, US $ 270;

One Kid [1-1.3m], US $ 145, but braised pork rice set lunch for kids, no extra bed.

Note:

ü Lunch for farm fresh hotpot is included; If you want to choose Braised Pork Rice Set for lunch, then we will give the price difference back to you; but please make sure inform us in advance, because we are required by the farm to book in advance in order to give you a better experience.

ü A local English-speaking Guide and an air-conditioned car or van, and tickets for entrance and the activities mentioned above at the farm in the route.

ü All the optional activities are exclusive.

ü If your group is more than 6 adults, then you could enjoy a group discount, 90% for each participant.
