Lantern Lake in Foshan

The Lantern Lake is a public park in Nanhai District, Foshan City. For the first phase, it starts with the north entrance of Leigang Park and ends at Haiba Road. With a width about 280m, the park covers about 300mu land and is composed of the lake area and the square area. The construction started in July 1999 and was completed in August 2001. Upon completion, the park hosts about 1300 lanterns and was thus named 1000 Lanterns Lake Park.
