Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall

Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall was built in 1929 on Dongfeng Road Middle to commemorate Mr. Sun Yat-sen, the founder of the Republic of China. In front of the memorial hall stands the moulded 5m copper statue of Mr. Sun Yat-sen, which was rebuilt in 1956. In 1963, the hall was overhauled and the roof was covered with blue glazed tiles and the 60,000sqm park was fenced with iron rails. Many trees and flowers were planted. The hall is now a national cultural relic.
