In Tibetan, Namtso means 'Heavenly Lake.' It is considered one of the three holy lakes in Tibet.
Being the second largest saltwater lake in China only after Qinghai Lake, Namtso Lake is the biggest lake throughout Tibet. Meanwhile, it is the highest altitude saltwater lake in the world.

Holy Lake Namtso in Tibet!
I heard of Namtso before, it`s said it`s a holy lake and people always saying your trip wont complete until you go to the Namtso. I am planning to go Tibet next year and if you have more time, could you tell me more information about Tibet, like the visa, where to go, what to do stuffs like that?
