Public Buses

In Hangzhou, there have many bus routes in downtown.  The public transportation bus routes to scenic areas are Y1, Y7, Y9, K7, and Y1, Y2, Y9 have a tour guide will introduce each scenic ares also telling you where to get off if you want to go somewhere, but only in Chinese though.

Normally the buses start with "K" are air-conditioned ones.   It cost 2 Yuan when the month March, April, October and November, and other months are 1 Yuan.

The buses  start with "Y" are tour buses.  It will cost 3-5 Yuan depends on where you are going to get off.

Most buses in Hangzhou are self-service and do not provide change so please prepare the changes if you decide to take bus to get around.
