Korean at the News Hotel

At the far end of the main lobby in the News Hotel authentic Korean cuisine is available for around 50 yuan per person. The entire staff wears traditional Korean costumes.

First try some shiguo banfa. This staple Korean contains mountain vegetables, beef or pork, and rice served in a stone dish so hot the egg on top is still sizzling. Others may prefer some Korean barbeque, where the meat is delicately wrapped in fresh, crispy lettuce leaves and washed down with some soju, a clear Korean liquor. Those seeking a more relaxing end to the meal may stick to the barley tea served with the meal.
