Ban Po Village was discovered in 1953, it is the earliest example of Neolithic Yangshao culture.

The site is divided into 3 separate areas:

Residential area

Manufacturing area

Cemetery



Here are also have 45 houses and buildings, 250 adult graves, 73 children`s burial urns, and six pottery kilns.
