Business Hours

Normal office hours in Guangzhou are 9am – 5pm or longer (depending on the kind of business) on weekdays, and 9am – 1pm on Saturdays. Major Banks are open 9am – 4:30pm on weekdays, and 9am – 12:30pm on Saturdays. Closed Sundays and public holidays.

Some shops are open every day throughout the year, some only closing during the Chinese New Year holiday. Because the people don’t’ celebrate the Christmas day in Guangzhou, so that the shops and the restaurant still opening.

Generally, opening hours are 10 am-6pm (Most of the Guangzhou wholesale Markets close at 6 PM). However, many stores in busy retail areas like Beijing Lu, Shangxiajiu lu and the shopping mall like the Teemall, open until 9:30 AM and close at 10-11PM

Most restaurants stay open until 11pm or later, while some bars and clubs in areas keep going through the night.
