Gongga Mountain round trips 4 days   

day 1: Chengdu-Shimian-Kangding (420km) (8 hours )

7:30 start from Chengdu hotel . you will go via Chengdu-Leshan Highway and then Ya-Xi Highway which is from Ya’an to Xichang(240km, from Sichuan basin to Hengduan Mountains)

it is across Qingyi River. Dadu River, Anning River etc and 12 earthquake fault lines . the terrain is dangerous. thus Ya-Xi highway is so called “sky stairs highway”

lunch in Shimian Town , then drive along the Dadu river ,after Luding arrive Kangding . stay in the hotel .

day 2: Kangding-Xinduqiao-Gonggashan town –Zimei-Quanhuatan-Yaha-Xiduqiao (180km)

climb over Zheduo Mountain .arrive in Jiagenba town after Xinduqiao .

Quanhua Shoal is located on in Yulong west village.  altitude is around 4000meters. it’s the best point to see Gongga Mountain.  there are 8 calcic pools. it’s similar to Huanglong .

Day 3: Xinduqiao-Tagong-Kangding airport—Luding-Caoke Town (201km)

on the Tagong Grassland , you can see one of the four holy mountains-Yala holy mountain

night stay in Caoke town here you can enjoy natural hot spring .



 

Day 4: Caoke-Shimian-Jiuxiang-Chengdu ( 320km)
