Opened in 2004, Bee House has become one of the most well-known night clubs in Shenyang. Bee House’s main floor features live entertainment in the evenings, and is a dance club late at night. Bee House maintains a very international clientele, and is a popular hang-out for many of Shenyang’s foreign students and teachers. The second floor lounge is a bit quieter and more intimate than the main floor. Sometimes hosts or sponsors organize special theme parties such as “Hip-Hop Night”. The third floor is a KTV lounge (karaoke).
Bee House is a fun stop if you like dancing and/or loud music. It’s usually too loud to hold much of a conversation, and the drinks are on the expensive side. A bottle of water will cost you more than a bottle of beer…ask for a bucket of ice and wait for it to melt.
Prices: Beers from 25 yuan, cocktails from 30 yuan. Specialty cocktails (some with very elaborate presentation) around 50 yuan.
Recommended: A pitcher of some mixed drink costs 80 yuan, probably the best value at Bee House.
How to get there: Bee House is on Feng Tian Jie (奉天街), just north of da xi lu (大西路) directly across from Dalian yu gang (大连渔港).
