Tuguo Village earthenware craft

The original earthenware process methods are passed down from generation to generation. In the Tuguo Village, located in Gasa County, there presents the most original earthenware processing. On the balcony or the roof of each house of local family, there hang the various pieces of earthenwares.

There are dozen kinds of the earthenware including earthen pot, kettles, bowls, bottles and containers for rice. Among them, the most prestigious one must be the earthen pot. Thus the village is named Tuguo (means earthen pot) after the craft.
