Chinese? Female? Over 27? Unmarried? Then congrats. You belong to the group labeled as “sheng nv(剩女)”, also known as leftover women. It’s so different from the west.

There are different grades of leftover women in China according to age.

* Aged from 25-27, also known as sheng dou shi(剩斗士), a harmonic name with Saint圣斗士 in Chinese.

* Aged from 28-30, also known as bi sheng ke(必剩客), a harmonic name with Pizza-hut 必胜客 in Chinese.

As a member of Pizza-hut, I went to a blind date last week arranged by a warm-hearted auntie. It was the second blind date I’ve been to so far.
