Fat Siu Lau 2

Once upon a time in ye olde Macau there was a quaint old restaurant called Fat Siu Lau. It was a popular little joint and soon gained a popular following amongst the local population. Now, just about 100 years on after numerous relocations and refurbishments, Fat Siu Lau has spawned another – aptly named Fat Siu Lau 2.

This second outlet (aka: The Dynasty Branch) builds on the success of its predecessor, serving up the same legendary mix of Portuguese and Asian style food that has come to be the trademark of this eatery. The recipes have been perfected over time by different generations of founder Wong Man Sing’s family. Throughout the course of its history, the restaurant has attracted icons such as Bruce Lee, the Chinese opera star Yam Kim Fai, and singer Lee Heung Lan. Some of the most popular signature dishes include marinated roast pigeon, Portuguese-influenced African chicken, and the aromatic curry crab.
