Recently expanded and revamped, Kissho has a new layout with warm tones and the same lively atmosphere. The standout feature is the flames leaping from the new teppanyaki grill in the back. Past the open sushi bar, there are now seven VIP private rooms and an expanded open dining area.
The menu features Australian Wagyu beef and fresh seafood jet-fresh from Japan’s famous Tsukiji fish market at the teppanyaki table. Selections are ordered either a la carte, as part of a set, or as a four-course tasting menu served with a glass of sake or wine. Signature dishes include sashimi and sushi, grilled salmon in Japanese salt, steamed clams in sake and assorted tempura. There is also a new sake menu boasting one of the largest and most comprehensive selections of classic brews as well as newcomers to the market with more than 50 to choose from. Sparkling sake, with a floral flavor and lower alcohol content is a fresh way to enjoy it.
