Chinese Fast Food

The only thing that Chinese fast food has in common with its Western counterpart is that it is fast. Dishes are mainly rice, noodle and dumpling based and a meal can be had for about RMB20. There are several chains in Shenzhen and they can usually be found in busy shopping areas. This type of restaurant is a good option if you are on a budget or in a hurry. Unless you like the idea of a chunk of Spam between two slices of sweetened bread, avoid the Western food on their menus. Some popular chains include Fairwood,Hong Kong Food Palace and Café de Coral.
