Nanjing Forestry University

Brief Introdution:
Nanjing Forestry University (NFU) is located in the east of Nanjing, at the foot of Purple Mountain and east of Xuanwu Lake. Formally called Nanjing Forestry College, NFU was founded in 1952,but the University dates back to 1902 when Sanjiang Normal School was founded. Then the University originates from the Forest Departments of Jinling University, Nanjing University, Wuhan University, Nanchang University and Hubei Agricultural College. NFU was also named Nanjing Technological College of Forest Products. NFU, as one of the sources of modern forestry and higher education of 4forestry in China, boasts a galaxy of pioneers and founders in modern forestry. At present, NFU has 39 Departments in 14 Colleges of Forest Resources and Environment, Landscape Architecture, Wood Science and Technology, Chemical Engineering, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering, Economics and Management, Civil Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, Information Science and Technology, Continuing Education, Applied Technology, International Education, Graduate School, and Physical Education.
