The Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (NJUTCM) was founded in 1954. As one of the WHO Collaborative Centers on Traditional Medicine and a key university in Jiangsu, it has nurtured a group of academicians of TCM. NJUTCM is designated by the Ministry of Public Health to be an International Acupuncture Training Center, a Training Base for TCM Teachers, and a Clinical Pharmacology Base. It can grant master and a doctorate degree in clinical medicine and, it is one of the first authorized universities of TCM to enroll and train overseas students.
