Huangpu Village
Huangpu Village,originally known as “Fengpu”, “Huangpu” and “ Huangzhou”,was the places where the ships from around the world converged as early a time as the song dynasty.
During 1757 to 1842 in Qing Dynasty,Huangpu village port was the only chinese port that was permitted to carry out foreign trade. thus Huangpu village grew into one of the world major’s centers.cultural relics including the original port,ancestral temples,acient streets and unique taoist temples all bear witnesses to the villages’ cultural development in the past several hundreds years.what is more,the unique linnan habits and customs and innumerable historical anecdotes about the history of the village have added much folk lore to its culture.
