Gulangyu is the third largest island off the coast of Xiamen, a city in Fujian Province in southern China. It is about 2 km2 (0.77 sq mi) in area. It is home to about 20,000 people and is a domestic tourist destination. The only vehicles permitted are small electric buggies and electric government service vehicles. Visitors can reach it by ferry from the ferry terminal in Xiamen. Local residents are allowed to use a shorter 5 minute ferry to/from Heping Ferry Terminal. Tourists and non-locals must now take a longer 20 minute ferry ride from Dongdu International Terminal, as of October 20, 2014 with a fare increase from 8 yuan to 35 yuan. This has been in order to reduce tourist numbers accessing the island in an effort to conserve it. Gulangyu Island is renowned for its beaches and winding lanes and its varied architecture. The island is on China’s list of National Scenic Spots and also ranks at the top of the list of the ten most-scenic areas in the province.

Jinjiang City, Fujian Province, is a well-known shoe industry center.Today, Jinjiang has become China’s largest tourism sports shoe production base and the world’s major sports shoe production base.

At present, the city has more than three thousand footwear production and management enterprises, an annual output of seven hundred million pairs, with an annual output value of more than 200 billion yuan. Products are exported to more than eighty countries and regions throughout the world.

Chendai district, Jinjiang City is the country’s largest shoe production (currently 8.5% of the world) processing and trading base.

Complete products, high-class production equipment, and a complete enterprise chain. With a large number of brand-name enterprise clusters, this market is mature.

Jinjiang also has many shoe factories that copy brands, such as Nike and Adidas, and the quality is almost the same or even better than the original. Factories still exist but so does underground production.

If you're interested in ancient Chinese history and culture, you can't miss Quanzhou, a city which has different religions home and abroad exist harmoniously and many historic evidences well-reserved. You can either take a one-day tour or spend two or three days to explore this special city.

Quanzhou was China's major port for foreign traders, who knew it as Zaiton or "Zayton" (زيتون), during the 11th through 14th centuries. It was visited by both Marco Polo and Ibn Battuta; both travelers praised it as one of the most prosperous and glorious cities in the world.

Medieval Quanzhou was long one of the most cosmopolitan Chinese cities, with folk, Buddhist, and Hindu temples; Islamic mosques; andChristian churches, including a cathedral (financed by a rich Armenian lady) and two Franciscan monasteries. Andrew of Perugia served as the Roman Catholic bishop of the city from 1322. Odoric of Pordenone was responsible for relocating the relics of the four Franciscans martyred at Thana in India in 1321 to the mission in Quanzhou. Protestant The English Presbyterian missionaries raised a chapel around 1862. The Qingjing Mosque dates to 1009 but is now preserved as a museum. The Buddhist Kaiyuan Temple has been repeatedly rebuilt but includes two 5-story 13th-century pagodas. Among the most popular folk or Taoist temples is that to Guandi (关帝庙), the war god who is honored for his control of weather and wealth. Jinjiang also preserves the Cao'an Temple (草庵寺), originally constructed byManicheans under the Yuan but now used by New Age spiritualists, and a Confucian Temple (文庙, Wenmiao).

Quanzhou is generally ignored by Chinese tourists in favor of nearby Xiamen. Nonetheless, Quanzhou was one of the 24 famous historic cultural cities first approved by theChinese government. Notable cultural practices include:
