Shenyang Jiang Nan Golf Club

Newly constructed in 2006-2007, the Jiang Nan golf club offers decent entertainment and/or practice for any die-hard golfers living in Shenyang. The club is reasonably priced, but the course is fairly short and only nine holes. 

   

The driving range is lighted and is open from 7am-9:30pm. The cost is 80 yuan for a very large bucket of balls. The golf course is open from 7am-dark, and costs 310 yuan for nine holes. Tee times can be made one day in advance for the weekends, and are not required during the week. Rental clubs, caddies, and instructors are available. There are also indoor hitting nets and “video golf” open year-round. 

    

If you buy a one-year membership card for the club, you get additional services, plus discounts on golf, driving range, as well as the club’s restaurant and sauna. The membership costs 10,880 yuan. 

Location: South of the Hun River in Shenyang’s newly developing Hunnan District, just west of the new Olympic Stadium. The club is easy to find。 From the city, it is on the right just after crossing Hun He Bridge (浑河大桥)。 It’s also directly on the way to the airport. It’s around a 20 yuan taxi ride from the city center. From the city, go south on Qing Nian dajie, you will pass the Mariott and Sheraton hotels, cross the bridge, and you can see the course on your right. Ask a taxi driver for “húnhé dàqiáo, húnnán qū” (浑河大桥浑南区)。
