Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefacture

  Dehong locates in the deeep west of Yunnan, bordering the Kachin State of Myanmmar. It is an open trading gate between China and Myanmmar, mainly trading jade, tropical wood and fruite. With the lovely climate, never too hot in summer, neither too cold in winter, here has great potential of growing economical plants, like fruite, rubber trees, coffe and more.

  Dehong is considered to be the town of peacock, in ethnique Dai People's heart, with the beautiful palm trees like the tail of peacocks, and even the clouds in the sky looks like peacocks.

  Besides Dai, there also lives variety of ethnique people, like Jingpo, Achang, Wa People, etc. All of them have very interesting premitive culture, with interesting festivals, colorful dresses, and lots of food made by pure natural material, which has very very interesting flavor.

 It still remains as one of the remotest region in Yunnan Province, with lots of nature, mysterious culture and you can tell people are so eager to learn and share.

There are daily flights from Kunming to Mangshi, or buses from West Bus Terminal in Kunming.
