The Pearl River is the mother river of Guangzhou. It gave rise to the prosperity of the city by offering water supply and convenient transportation. The night cruise on the Pearl River will give you a chance to see both sides of the banks with many buildings in flashing lights, indicating how busy the night life is in this fantastic beautiful city.

The so-called Guangzhou University Mega Center, based on an island in Panyu District, now has 10 universities on it. As the lands are becoming more and more precious and limited, Guangzhou has expanded from downtown to suburb and the Guangzhou University Mega Center offered a large area for university facilities such as playground, student's dormitory, teaching building. We expect it would be more comfortable as the trees grow up in a few years. 

A theme park featuring sunflowers, they grew hundreds of sunflowers in a centered area of the park with many different kinds of other flowers surrounded. In the south tip of Panyu district and actually now it belongs to Nansha district of Guangzhou, which is about 1 hours driving from downtown. Animal shows and Some other recreational items have been built there to attract children too.

Yuexiu Park also called Yuexiu Mountain or Yuexiu Hill, a centered scenic spots for tourists. What's famous in it includes Zhenhai Tower(also named as Guangzhou Museum), The five-ram Statue, Sun yat-sen Memorial monument. 

Guangzhou is getting bigger and bigger as it expand far more to the south area exploiting more lands. Now it has turned into the 19th River Sea Food Market and the previous 18th one, yet the specialty and feature remain. As a countryside place receiving more and more citizen tourist to visit, the local people here take advantage of this chance to sell what they harvested in the sea, that's how the sea food market was formed.

Guangzhou Beer Museum is located in Haizhu District, next to the pearl river, and this is the production base for the local brand "Pearl River" beer, visitors could have a chance to see the beer plant, different procedures in the producing process. Various kinds of beers are offer for free for visitors to taste.

There are lots of Xinjiang Local specialties in Guangzhou, mostly appear on the street vendor stall which are operated by Xinjiang people who live in Guangzhou. Raisin is one of the most popular Xinjiang fruit/food and it has many sorts offering different favor and taste.

An extraordinary island on the pearl river, looks like the shape of a sailing boat. The grand opening ceremony of 2010 Asian Games was set here. Now it becomes unmissable tourist attraction, forming the new guangzhou central axis together with the Canton Tower and The Flower Square.
