Yangshuo is a town in Guilin. It's a place you must go to visit. The Villages in Yangshuo are also very nice. You should hire a bike to go to visit the villages for half one day.

Liyuan Theatre is a joint venture by Qianmenjianguo Hotel and Beijing Theatre in Oct. 1990, which is the first theatre in Beijing that presents tea ceremony. Located inside the hotel, it was listed as the best Night Show Theatre in Beijing for 7 years in a row. The theatre mainly consists three parts: Opera House; Exhibition Room and a Souvenir Shop. The Opera House covers two parts, a stage which is 8 meters tall, 12 meters long and 7 meters wide, as well as the 800 audience seats.

The same as walking around the Forbidden City and savoring the Peking Roast Duck, watching Peking Opera in Liyuan Theatre is an integral part for most tourists visiting Beijing. For the last decade, it staged more than 3,800 shows with millions of audiences including dignitaries from other countries. With its expertise in presenting Peking Opera in a special way, the Liyuan Theatre won great applause from visitors home and abroad. It is the first theatre that presents shows all year round with hundreds of audience in China.

Tip: Please get to the theatre 30 minutes in advance to see how the performer make up which is quite popular with foreign tourists.

Chaoyang Theatre Acrobatics Show

Built in 1984, the Chaoyang Theartre is an arena specializing in acrobatic performance. It is one of the fixed places certified by the Beijing Municipal Government for presenting shows to tourists. Originally, the shows presented in the theatre were dancing and opera for visitors home and abroad in the middle and late 1980s. Later on, the Chaoyang Theatre stood out by performing acrobatics only. After over 20 years professional operation, it established a famous cultural brand which is “For watching Acrobatics, go to Chaoyang Theatre”. The Chaoyang Theatre is located in the middle of Eastern 3rd Ring Road which is the center of CBD in Beijing. Convenient transportation and culture-friendly atmosphere made it an important place for the nightlife in Beijing. It has received more than 5 million audiences home and abroad, including the dignitaries from foreign countries who spoke highly of the exquisite performance.

Bamboo Temple,

Bamboo Temple is located in Yu'an Mountains in the Northwest of Kunming , about 7 Kilometers away from the center of the city . Around the temple are mountains covered with trees everywhere , and at the gate of the temple stand many very tall cypress trees which were planted in ancient times . The streams and brooks are flowing through the woods and valley , making a beautiful natural sound. At the back of the temple , a great deal of bamboo is so green as if there were some dew-drops on its leaves . That is the so-called Qiongzhu--a kind of bamboo .

Restaurants and bars are scattered along the sides of a serpentine lake north of the Forbidden City. At the very center of Beijing, it makes a great place to sit back and enjoy the views, particularly at night when the lights glisten off the water. Restaurants here offer a range of Chinese and foreign cuisines, including Hakka cuisine from south China, spicy Sichuan and Yunnan dishes, light Vietnamese and heavier Russian food. Most of the restaurants offer a cozy dining environment. Many have a lake view, some set up tables in the open beside the water, and a few even offer boats for dining on the lake itself.

It is said that there are over two hundred kinds of snacks in Beijing such as Quick-Fried Tripe, Boiled Sheep's Head, Pancakes with Meat-Fillings, Sugar-Coated Haws, Roast Sweet Potato, Shish Kebab, Roast Mutton, and Sticky Rice with Sweet Fillings. The local Beijing people, especially elder ones, especially enjoy Mung Bean Milk, Fried Liver and Filled Sausage. Many of these tasty snacks don 't have suitable translations in English, but you can simply wander down some of the numerous snack streets to see for yourself which ones you would like to sample. Even if you aren 't quite brave enough to try, the stroll will be certain to provide plenty of good entertainment and you never know what kind of local delicacy might wet your tongue!
