How to save money travel to Harbin

if you plan to travel to harbin and you are backpacker, you cannot think how to save money, infact travel harbin cost a lot of money, you can not really save, if you dont need, private tour guide, you travel by yourself, entrance will cost you lot of money, main ice festival entrance fee like this, ice and snow world the biggest one ice festival is USD55 , You hear it like more money, when you see the huge project, you will not think it cost too much , you will thing is worth, and snow sculptural at sunisland entrance fee is USD40 , ice lantern festival in zhaolin park USD 25 , tiger park you also should visit is USD15, AND ice swimming show is USD15, You can count how much you will spend, and transport, if you take bus, no bus directly there, you  have to take a taxi, taxi also is difficult to get it, even you get it you have to pay more, becuase you dont like go there. it is a little far from downtown, no client get taxi when taxi back , so you like charge more .when you are in attractions transfer to each attraction also need more money for transport, the taxi will charge more, some time they ask 10-20USD per person, and you are alone, you will not feel safe, if with private guid is ok , and a day tour finish, you can count how much do you spend a day , I think will cost around 300-500YUAN like around 50-80USD, If you bargain good you can get good price, if not, you will lost more money, also transport people not good person, they will not keep their words, so travel harbin prepare enough money , and find a private guide with the price you can offer , and how much you offer up to what kind of guide, good english speaking, local guide, and good university will cost higher, speak english , not that good, cost lower, and some no experience about tour guide,  will cost lower,sometimes not cheapest is good, after travel you will regret and miss some you real want things
