By subway
Take subway line 2 to Qianmen Station, and leave by Exit A. Then walk north to find the west end of the hutong.
Take subway line 2 to Chongwenmen Station (Exit B1 or B2), or take subway line 5 to Chongwenmen Station (Exit A), and then walk north to find the east end of the hutong.

By bus
1. Take bus Tourist Line 1, 2, Tourist Line 2, 5, or 120, and get off at Tiananmen Square East Station.
2. Take bus 41, or 60, and get off at Zhengyilu Nankou Station.
3. Take bus 39, 41, 106 (Trolley), 108 (Trolley), 110, 111 (Trolley), 116 (Trolley), 684, or 685, and get off at Chongwenmen Inner Station.
4. Take bus Te 2, 8, 9, 20, 41, 44, 59, 60, 103 (Trolley), 104 (Trolley), 110, 622, 623, or 673, and get off at Chongwenmen West Station.
