This tour is the absolute best way to see the city! We squeezed so much in and were amazed by what we accomplished in just 2 days: from The Great Wall to The Forbidden City to The Summer Palace and everything in-between! Betty is very personable and makes you feel comfortable immediately, she handled everything seamlessly and though the schedule was packed, we never felt rushed. She even took pictures of us doing things and sent them to us, which we loved. We especially appreciated her patience with our two young kids (ages 6 and 3), and the flexibility to go at our own pace. Also greatly appreciated were her suggestions for places to eat/visit in the evenings when we weren't on the tour. The places we stopped for meals with Betty were also incredibly delicious. I just can't recommend this tour enough! My kids will be talking about their Great Wall adventure forever and already can't wait to go back and ride the toboggan back down. Read less

My family and I visited Beijing over Thanksgiving (November) 2016. We booked 2 full day tours and 1 half day tour through Lulu's Beijing Tours. Mary was our guide and was very good and made our trip wonderful and memorable. They were very professional and helped us to build our itinerary to best match our needs. Lulu's tours were very good from the point I made email contact with them. They were very responsive and very flexible to our needs. I even changed my itinerary two days before and made an extra booking and all went well. Our guide Jenny was excellent. Her english was very good and her knowledge also. We spent wonderful day with guide Apple and our driver . Since we only had one day, Apple was able to show us all the sights we very much wanted to see. Her knowledge of Beijing was impressive. She was able to provide us with history and interesting facts about the area. We highly recommend Apple , Lulu's Tour to you. When I booked the tour Lulu got back to be as quickly as the time difference allowed.  My husband, son (25) and I had a memorable day that we will never forget.

We booked tour through Lulu for 5th, 6th and 7th July 2013. The pick up from High Speed Railway station on 4th July was good. But our ordeal started from 5th July morning. The tourguide (I don't want to name her) sent by Lulu started discussion on charges, fee and tips. It was shocking for us as everything was already finalized through email. Instead of guiding us, Tour guide was asking our suggestions. She had least information about places. In fact I am here in Shanghai for more than 1 year so I had prepared well for the places of interest in Beijing, so we could see and enjoy the places.

Even last day, instead of dropping us at Beijing South Railway station, we were dropped at Beijing West Railway Station. It was good that we had time, so took a taxi and went to Beijing South to catch our train back to Shanghai.

 

I don't want to write more but just want to caution tourists, specially foreigners, not to book any tour through Lulu.

We used Lulu' Tours during our 3-day visit to Beijing in November. She supplied punctual, friendly, efficient drivers with clean roomy vans.Our tour guide was a very personable young woman named Mary, who spoke English very well and was extremely knowledgeable about the various areas to see in Beijing . Mary was informative, organized, extremely eager to please and friendly. To start off, Lulu arranged for a driver to meet us at the Beijing airport upon our arrival and take us to our hotel. Early the following morning, Mary met us in the lobby of the hotel and described our itinerary for the next two days. We had a driver and car which made getting around quick and efficient.The rates were very reasonable.  We highly recommend Lulu' Tours!
