 Jenny is a terrific tour guide!   She met us at the railway station, and we used taxis to get around.    You might want to explore the possibility of hiring a car for the day(s)  she guides you, as taxis were at times a challenge to find.   Jenny was very kind, knowledgeable, and had a super sense of humour.   She very much understood the Western travellers' challenges, and the joy of discovery.   Highpoints were the National Tea Museum and West Lake, along with lunch in a private dining pavilion where she helped us order wonderful food at bargain prices. Spontaneity is a strong suit: a fruit seller came by and presto! we were trying fresh lotus seeds and waxberries (a red juicy fruit that is so soft and perishable that it is not exported)    I have had the privilege of working with guides in many cities on all continents.   Jenny is truly outstanding.

Jenny is a wonderful guide!  Even before we arrived, she took care to check on all our arrangements, suggested we change our reservation to a hotel in a better location.  She took us to many attractions during the two days we were in Hangzhou and provided much information on the city and all of the places we visited.  Most importantly, she bridged the language barrier for us, even helping us find restaurants for dinner and staying with us while we ordered our meal, before she went home for the evening.  She ensured our visit was a memorable experience and we highly recommend her as a guide.

To all those that need a tour guide/travel assistent

I just wanted to thank Jenny Tong for her  help during my visit to Hangzou.

It was a verry compressed visit and Jenny totally understood that.She was there for me every minute of the day.Dedicated and very sensitive to my needs and also making sure that beside fulfilling business needs I will leave with a clear picture about chinese culture,past and present and more than anithing,about today''s way of living.

She is very well informed and has a great knowledge about the city and province and she will take you to se the most beautifull places inHangzhou.

Oh, not to mention her great sense of humor,I ended up having alott of fun as well.She is sincere and humble and that makes her a wonderfull tour guide and interpreter.

So whenever you need a tour guide/interpreter contact her .

I have to to say that thanks to her I miss Hangzhou already and really looking forward to go back there next year.

Jenny is a terrific guide, as she skillfully navigated my father, brother and me in and amongst the crowds on a delightful one-day tour of Hangzhou this past week.  She met us at the railway station, we jumped in a taxi and were off to see much more than we ever could have done on our own.  She is knowledgeable, personable, considerate, and will move at whatever pace you are comfortable with.  We had a great time (including two excellent meals) and heartily recommend her to any and all Hangzhou visitors.

At my first day at Hangzhou I realized that finding my way around myself is quite tiresome, so I contacted Jenny on very short notice via this page and luckly she was available the next day. She gave me a for one day a very individual tour through Hangzhou (by foot, bus, taxi and ... bycycle). So yes indeed, I had a wonderfull experience at Hangzhou. Jenny is a very experienced and attentive guide I can only recommend.
