Greetings fellow traveller. I'm Will, an artist and professional tour guide with over four years of experience. While I'm obviously not Spanish, I have known and loved Madrid for six years and I made it my home when I decided to move from my birthplace of London about three years ago. What keeps me here is the welcoming art community, full of talented individuals who run independent spaces and exciting projects, as well as the city's fascinating history, live music and late parties, nearby mountains, and especially the heavenly food.

Madrid is like a village compared to most big cities that I've experienced. It's easy to walk around the centre, which is connected to a lot of old neighbourhoods where nobody's in a hurry to get anywhere. At the turn of most corners, there's a beautiful view or an alley with charming bars, small art galleries, or points of great historical interest. I can show you all of this and give you an experience that will make this great big village feel like a home of your own, just like it became for me. I can also cater our outings to your specific interests, whether they may be in certain periods of history, politics, art, food, or maybe you're just looking for a good night out. I should say that sports aren't my forte, as so many people come here for the football, but if you fancy having a wander around Santiago Bernabeu or other grounds, I'm always willing to learn! For day trips out of the city, I can take you hiking in mountains or to more beautiful towns such as Toledo, Segovia, Aranjuez and El Escorial.
