I was born in Germany and raised in Crete. I am a teacher of English by profession but I have also worked as a PR assistant in a hotel and as a publisher's representative.  

I am fluent in English and Italian and I also speak some German, Spanish and French. Currently, I am studying Chinese for a university degree. 

I love photography and traveling. I have been to quite a few European countries, to Shanghai (China) and Dubai (UAE). I have also traveled round Greece and been to quite a few Greek islands. [I usually book only tickets and accommodation and travel on my own, for the adventure and fun of it. I always prefer local private guides to professional ones because that makes the experience more selective and natural.]  

In my free time, I walk or cycle, I cook, I write poetry and I make funny you-tube videos.

My love for Crete and the Cretan culture as well as knowing what a tourist might feel, need to see or experience in a foreign country have made me try myself as a personal, non-professional, tour guide in Crete.
