Friends and Travelers from Afar! My name is Anthony, and I am a social Entreprenuer based in Dali Old Town with a focus on creating cultural bridges through travel and technology. For the past 2 years I have been working as the cultural program coordinator at China's number 1 ranked hotel The Linden Centre [1]. While there, my main responsibility was connecting travelers to the daily life of villagers in a small traditional Bai minority town of Xizhou through interactive and education tours.  I am currently working on creating a new version of cultural travel guides for ipads. I received degrees in Economics and Asian Studies at the University of Florida where I first developed my passion and interest for China. In the 4 years I have been in China I have become intimately acquainted with the subtleties of life both past, present, and into the future in both Yunnan and China. For two years I worked as a audio and video engineer at Popup Chinese [2] in Beijing. In my spare time, I am heavily involved in Chinese social media [3], giving me unprecedented access to local happenings, interesting people, and cool locations.  I am very energetic and outgoing and love making new connections and bringing China alive in an accessible and safe way.
