TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1ROUTE: BANDARANAIKE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, KANDY

Head to Last Kingdom of Sri Lanka Known as Kanda Uda Ratain ancient period En Route visiting the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. See the elephants frolicking at the nearby river and orphaned baby elephants been bottle fed. Spend the evening within the historical palace Temple of the Tooth Relic followed by a traditional Sri Lankan music and dance performance.Spend the night in Kandy.

DAY 2ROUTE: EXPLORE KANDY CITY, PERADENIYA BOTANICAL GARDEN, DAMBULLA

Spend a morning in Colonial City and strolling amidst the exotic flora of Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and head to Dambulla,Visit an ancient cave temple with intricate frescoes and magnificent Buddha statues. Spend the night in Dambulla.

DAY 3

ROUTE: SIGIRIYA, MINNERIYA, POLONNARUWA

Early morning on conquering Sigiriya a rock fortress and a pleasure garden, adorned with murals of beautiful damsels after breakfast and head to Polonnaruwa, Commence exploring one of the better kept ruins of ancient Ceylon – the UNESCO World Heritage City of Polonnaruwa and end the day  head to Minneriya Wildlife reserve neighbouring Kaudulla National Park, a vast sanctuary home to about 250 wild elephants, wild buffaloes, spotted deer, sloth bear and more in the afternoon. Spend the night in Dambulla.

DAY 4ROUTE: ANURADHAPURA, ANURADHAPURA CITY TOUR

Behold the serene beauty of Samadhi Buddha Statue and glimpse riding the waters of Kala Wawa Resovior. Tour the ancient city of Anuradhapura including the visit to the Ruwanwelimaha Seya, the great stupa of Lanka and the Jaya Sri MahaBodhiya, the sacred fig tree, one of the oldest trees in the world. Spend the night in Anuradhapura.

DAY 5ROUTE: COLOMBO, EXPLORE THE CAPITAL CITY

Sri Lanka’s Capital Colombo, a port city, with a rich colonial heritage, on the Western coast is a potpourri of races, religions and cultures. Colombo displays the best and worst the country has to offer. The city is a contrast itself, with mansions, lush gardens, fine dining options, shopping malls packed with expensive designer brands standing next to urban slums; diesel fumed congested roads and street markets. Tour the city of Colombo including a visit to the National Museum and to the Antiquities replica sales Center at Museum premises.
