DAY 01- AIRPORT / PINNAWALA ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE
Meet your guide on arrival.we transfer to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Elephant Orphanage is a institution that has Been looking after orphaned or injured elephants that would otherwise have surely died. Then you can watch the elephant's bath in the river after the youngest babies are milk fed. Overnight stay at Pinnawala.
DAY 02- PINNAWALA ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE & SIGIRIYA ROCK
Next day breakfast at the hotel We Travel to Sigiriya Check in the hotel and evening you will travel to visit the Sigiriya rock fortress. One of Sri Lanka's most fascinating UNESCO world heritage sites. No matter how often you climb to the summit of this one-time hilltop fortress of the maverick Sinhalese king, Kassapa, the pleasure barely diminishes because of the abandon spectacular views at the summit. An evening you can go for the elephant ride at sigiriya. Overnight stay at Sigiriya.
DAY 03- SIGIRIYA / DABULLA / KANDY
Next day breakfast at the hotel and leave for Kandy via Dambulla and Matale. En-route visits the Golden rock temple. Golden Rock is a cave temple which dates back to the 1st Century .BC. Its rock ceiling is one large sweep of colorful frescoes which depict Buddhist mythology and the tales of the Buddha's previous births. The caves house the largest collection of Buddha statues in one place. From Dambulla drive to Matale to visit the Nalanda Gedige temple.The small building is designed like a Hindu temple with a mandapa, an entrance hall (originally roofed), a short passage to a bare cello, and an ambulatory round the holy center. There is no sign of Hindu gods, however, and the temple is said to have been used by Buddhists. This is one of the earliest buildings of stone constructed in Ceylon Then travel to Kandy visit the Matale spice garden. In Kandy visit the Temple of the Tooth. View a cultural dance in evening. Kandy , last seat of the Sinhala Kings, is a very popular destination for visitors from home and abroad. Overnight stay at Kandy.
DAY 04- KANDY / NUWARAELLIYA / ELLA
Breakfast at the hotel and leave for Nuwara Eliya. En-route visits a Tea factory,Tea plantation and. Sri Lanka being famous for its "Ceylon Tea" has added cheer to many the world over for more than a century. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya to be greeted by the fresh wintry atmosphere, the cottage type bungalows and the colonial air. ( Nuwara Eliya is also known as "Little England")An evening you will have a city tour in Nuwara eliya and visit the Gregory Lake. Nuwara Eliya and proceed to Nanu Oya Railway station to catch the train and a charming train ride to Ella. Ella excellent base for keen trekkers. Overnight stay at Ella.
DAY 05- ELLA / BUDURUWAGALA / TISSAMAHARAMA
After a worm breakfast at the hotel and start trekking in Ella rock the magnificent view through Ella Gap. Enchanting and spectacular sceneries among the tea plantations. On completion proceed to Yala National park . En route visit Rawana Water Fall & Buduruwagala temple.2.30pm visit yala national park by jeep. End of the safari back to hotel at Thissamaharama.
DAY 06/07- TISSAMAHARAMA /HIKKADUWA
After breakfast we will proceed Hikkaduwa. Hikkaduwa is a small town on the south coast of Sri Lanka. It is located in the Southern Province, about 20 km north-west of Galle. We go with a glass bottom boat and watch the corals, if you like it you can go snorkeling. After we visit Hikkaduwa we proceed to the Kosgoda's Marine a valuable conservation project that protects the endangered Marine Turtles of Sri Lanka. Globally, all seven species of marine turtles existing are endangered. Out of these seven, five species of sea turtles come ashore to nest in Sri Lanka. The process of marine turtles nesting, hatching being born, and swimming back to sea is an ancient and phenomenal ritual that is fascinating to observe. After we have seen this we 02 night stay at Hikkaduwa. DAY 08- HIKKADUWA / COLOMBO AIRPORT
Morning proceed to Colombo en rout visit boat safari at Madu river & Turtle Hatchery at kosgoda . Evening city tour of Colombo . Observing the old Parliament, the residential areas and the BMICH (Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall) and visit Fort. Also, visit the Ceramics Corporation Showroom, Majestic City shopping complex and the ODEL Unlimited Dress Boutique. Night at Colombo or transfer to the Air Port for departure.
