Dongmun market(동문시장) is traditional market in Jejudo island near by Jeju International Airport. 

Here you can buy Hoe and eat in your site or just go to the restaurant and eat the many different dishes. It will be a good experience the local market in Jejudo island.

This Samseonghyeol(삼성혈)  is the origin of the Jejudo island three family names and history. 

• Go 
• Yang 
• Bu

There are three holes in the earth, three ancient ancesters appeared from each hole. Those three men lived in Jejudo island by hunting. One day three princesses came from Byeokrangguk and they could get married.

It is shrine. We can take a walk quietly.

Sangumburi(산굼부리) is adventive volcano which is 435 meters high. It is just flat land from the parking lot.  There are many plants untouched in the crater.  

It is nature inside the Sangumburi and it is man-made beautiful garden out side of the Sangumburi. It is kind of caldera, because its diameter is 635 meters but its way of appearance is same.

cf. It is called caldera if the diameter is 1 kilometers long.

Abu Oreum(아부오름) is also one of the Oreums in Jejudo island.  It looks like that a father is sitting so you can lean against and rely on. Abu means father or second to father. 

Oreum is adventive volcano in Jejudo island. There are more than 360 Oreums in Jejudo island.

Youngnuni Oreum(용눈이오름) is famous Oreums in Jejudo island. Oreum is adventive volcano in Jejudo island. There are more than 360 Oreums in Jejudo island. 

Yongnuni Oreum is looks like eyes of dragon, so it is called Yongnuni which means eyes of dragon. It is 248 meter high so command a fine view.

Manjanggul(만장굴) is lava tube.  

It is 13,422 Km long, 2~20 meters wide, 2~30 meters high. It is longest in the world. It was made 2.5 million years ago when the volcano in Mt. Hallasan ran through to the sea. 

It is registered as Natural Monument 98, on December 3, 1962. It is also listed in UNESCO world cultural heritage. We cannot go around all the cave. The place where we can go looks like big tunnel as two cars can pass by.

Seongsan Ilchulbong peak(성산일출봉) is tuff cone. It is famous for sunrise peak. It is 182 meters high. Even though It is sunrise peak, the sunset over Mt. Hallasan is also very beautiful. It is Nature Reserve('Nature Protection Area'). 

It is small mountain which will take one hour round trip for ordinary Korean walking.  Summit itself has really beautiful scenery, but please remember when you go up please turn around and take a picture.

Soesokkak(쇠소깍)  estuary is the place where the lava runs into sea. So it made river-looked valley. This valley made beautiful scenery and things to do. 

If you have enough time like private tourists.Why don't you try ttransparent canoe or bicycle in the water(river).

Oedolgae Rock(외돌개) is 20 meter high beautiful rock with beautiful beach-side trail.  You can enjoy the sea-side trail for about 1 hour. 

There are two legends: 

1. The general Choiyeong pretend this rock as him and the rebellions killed themselves frightened by the Rock. Because there were Mongolian rebellions those who oppose to the request of tribute of of too many horses. 
2. There were silver couple who lived happily. One day the grandfather went to the sea and he didn't comeback. The grandmother shouted at the beach waiting her husband. But she became the Rock, unfortunately.

Mt. Songaksan(송악산) has beautiful peak. This peak was bade by volcano. It has trail also. It is satellite cone(parasite volcano) of Mt. Hallasan. There are many satellite cones in Jejudo island, among them this is the best. 

Horses are at grass. 

There are caves dug by foreign country during 2nd World War. It is the place where the famous Korean drama Daejanggeum was filmed. 

* Some peak is closed from July 2015 for 5 years.
