Belogradchik Rocks are situated just next to the town of Belogradchik. They are acessible on foot, hiking and camping in the area is possible. There is a number of guesthouses in the town, fresh air, and great local food.
The formation of the Belogradchik Rocks started during the Permian period, about 230 million years ago.
Rock figures and small valleys with steep vertical slopes have formed over hundreds of millions of years as a result of the natural processes of denudation, errosion, growth of mosses and lichens, and other natural factors.
Belogradchik Rocks have been declared a Natural Landmark by central government.

The Seven Rila Lakes are a group of lakes of glacial origin, situated in the northwestern Rila Mountains in Bulgaria. They are the most popular group of lakes in Bulgaria. The lakes are situated between 2,100 and 2,500 metres above sea level.

Each lake carries a name related to its most characteristic feature. The highest one is called Salzata ("The Tear") due to its clear waters that allow visibility in depth. The next one in height has the name Okoto ("The Eye") after its almost perfectly oval form.

Prohodna is a natural phenomenon in Bulgaria, a karst cave, located near the village of Karlukovo in Lukovit Municipality. The cave is known for the two eye-like holes in its ceiling, known as the Eyes of God. They were formed due to erosion.

Prohodna is the longest cave passage in Bulgaria. It is popular among rock climbers.

It takes about an hour and a half to reach it from Sofia. The cave can be visited all year long. In winter and when it is raining the Eyes of God seem to be crying as water is dropping into the cave.

Asen fortress is located half an hour hike out of donwtown Asenovgrad. Originally a strategic fortress stronghold protecting the Bachkovo pass, now a days Asen's Fortress is a favourite site for both locals and travelers. Getting there is easy, head south in direction of Yavorovo or Dobrolak village (about 30min walk).
