Longtanxihu Park
With a forest coverage rate of 56%, there are more than 30000 square meters of green space. One of the most famous views of the park is “Liu An Feng He”. There are two causeways on the lake, and south one about 130 meters, the north one of about 210 meters. “Liu An Feng He” means lotus growing along the causeway. At the end of the causeway is the island.
The whole park is divided into four parts: historical liuhe pavilion, Beishan, Nanshan and Hetang Yuese. Liuhe pavilion is the main landscape of the park where precious tree species like ginkgo biloba, Metasequoia glyptostroboides is plating here.
Longtanxihu park was built in 1986, which was once a part of the longtan park until Longtanxihu management department was established in 1991. Now the park belong to the dongcheng district.
Bus No. 6, 8, 12, 60, 116, 750, 807 stop at Beijing Youleyuan Station and walk west about 200 meters.
