Going on a trip to Sichuan countryside in mid-July is a tough task. but seeing the pure and gorges countryside views is kind of a reward. 

After 2.5 hours driving from Chongqing downtown, we got to the destination——Shigu village in eastern Sichuan.

People living there can even endure such hot weather around 40 degree centigrade without having any air-conditioners. 

With very few people knowing about, there lies a sleeping Budda dates back to Tang Danysty (618AD-907AD). The only way of getting to the Budda is by water---by little boats rowing about half an hour.
