PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION IN DUBROVNIK

"Libertas" is the company which runs the orange city buses. The buses are efficient, clean and frequent, but can get busy in rush hour. The buses connect different areas of Dubrovnik with the Old Town. The bus stop for the Old Town is called Pile. Bus tickets are obtainable at any of the TISAK newspaper stands and some hotels sell them, too. A single ticket costs 12 Kunas if you buy it from a news stand or from your hotel, 15 Kunas if you buy it from the driver (exact change only).

Once you've bought your ticket, hop on the bus and don't forget to validate your ticket in the ticket-stamping machine immediately upon boarding.
