Tour Description
See the Great Wall of China and the Ming Tombs on this private day excursion from Beijing. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant along the way.
After your hotel pick-up at around 7:50am in the morning we will drive to the largest man-made project in human history: the 2,700 miles long Great Wall of China, which was built more than 2,000 years ago and arguably the only object that can be seen by astronauts from the moon. Enjoy a Chinese lunch at a local restaurant en route.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Ming Tombs where emperors and empresses of the Ming Dynasty dating back to 1368-1644 lie buried. You will have the unique chance to see one of the 13 tombs - the Ding Ling which is the excavated tomb with its Underground Palace and the show rooms.
After an amazing day out, you will return to your hotel at around 5.30pm.
