Matias Maestro Cemetery

The Cementerio Matias Maestro located very close to the Plaza de Armas de LIMA is considered the oldest of its type on the american continent, it wasinaugurated in 1808 and today it has become one of the main historic attractions downtown especially for art lovers,, there are more than 2 000 Carrra-marble sculptures and mausoleums from the 19th and the 20th centuries.
