Croatia has a very rich history. In this tour we will glimpsed it by visiting the most famous and the most beautiful castle in Croatia - The Trakoscan castle and Trakoscan estate - located on a dreamy, hilly landscape. After that we go to the ex-capital of Croatia - Varaždin - which is a story in itself.

The tour starts from your hotel in Zagreb, from where we will go to Trakoscan - a historic estate once ruled by Draskovic family, one of the most influental nobles of the country. We'll walk through charming Trakoscan castle and enjoy a beautiful lake and a forest that surrounds it.

Then we go to Varazdin - a historic town, about one hour drive from Zagreb. It gained popularity worldwide after high grade of a respected tourism organization. It is a charming town which attracts more and more travelers, some of which have moved here permanently.

In Varazdin we'll have meal/refreshment and an easy walk through the town, seeing its way of life, attractions, with possibility of hiring bikes or visiting some museums.

Most people that see Varazdin feel enchanted by its beauty, and usually return feeling glad that they've visited it. After sightseeing you will be transported back to your hotel in Zagreb.
