Tour Description
Day 01 Arrival at Beijing
On arrival in Beijing, you will be meet by our tour guide and transfer to your hotel in Beijing. Free for the rest of the day.
Day 02 Beijing ( B L )---Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Treasure Houses, Beihai Park with boating
After breakfast at your hotel, start your tour with the visit to Tiananmen Square(40minutes), the largest public square in the world. Then move on to the Forbidden City(2hours), the Chinese imperial palace from the mid-Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. We also visit Treasure Houses.
Tiananmen Square:
Tiananmen Square -The biggest downtown Square of the world,where you can visit Tiananmen Tower, Monument to the People's Heroes, Great Hall of the People, Mao Zedong Memorial Hall and see the national flag raising ceremony. Thousands of people come to the Square every day. It is the must place to visit in Beijing City.
Forbidden City:
The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. It is located in the middle of Beijing, China, and now houses the Palace Museum. For almost 500 years, it served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government.
Lunch at a characteristic restaurant(1.5 hours).
Then visit Beihai Park(1hour), this park is a good example of a classic Yuan dynasty imperial garden and has the benefit of being good to visit in all seasons.
Beihai Park:
Baihai Park is situated in the Xicheng District and has a history of more than 1,000 years. This park was built up through five dynasties, the Liao (916-1125), the Jin (1115-1234), the Yuan (1271-1368), the Ming (1368-1644) and the Qing (1644-1911). Though it was a royal garden, it remains grand with a hint of exquisite elegance as well. It covers an area of 69 hectares (171 acres), with over a half covered by water. The whole park can be divided into four scenic areas: Qionghua Islet (Jade Flower Islet), Circular City, the eastern bank area and the northern bank area.
Day 03 Beijing ( B L )---Badaling Great Wall, Changling, view the exterior of the Bird's Nest Stadium and Water Cube, Olympic Green
Morning excursion to the most strong and magnificent section of the Great Wall - the Badaling Great Wall. The hiking takes about 2-3 hours.
Badaling Great Wall:
Badaling Great Wall, a most famous section of the Great Wall, is located at Yanqing County in Beijing. Longqing Gorge sits at Yanqing County as well as Badaling Great Wall, so Longqing Gorge also attracts large number of tourists after Badaling Great Wall. Badaling, literally meaning "reach eight directions", got its name because the maze of its ridges stretches in all directions.
Lunch at a characteristic restaurant(1.5 hours).
After lunch, continue to visit Changling(1.5hours), one of the 13 Ming Tombs of the 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty ( 1368 - 1644).Then head to the Olympic Green and view the exterior of the Bird's Nest Stadium and Water Cube Aquatic Centre. Back to your hotel .
Changling:
Fifty kilometers (31 miles) away from Beijing lies Changling Tomb, the tomb of the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), Zhu Di and Empress Xu. Among the 16 emperors of the Ming Dynasty, Emperor Zhu Di (1360-1424), also honored as Emperor Yongle, made the greatest contribution to the country and had the most far-reaching impact on history. During his time, the Ming Dynasty reached its peak. In 1409, Emperor Zhu Di built Changling Tomb. He was the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty to build a tomb. After that another 12 tombs were built. Changling Tomb is the largest and the most completely preserved of these tombs. Because of its grand ancient architecture, brilliant culture and long history, the site is one of the most significant attractions in Beijing.
Olympic Park:
The Olympic Green, Beijing's newest urban parkland, is great for walking and sightseeing-it's full of Olympic-themed sculptures, art and fun rest spots. To get to the Bird's Nest, walk north on Beichen Lu, and soon you'll see it on your right with the Water Cube on your left. The Bird's Nest-officially known as Beijing National Stadium-is easily the most iconic of Beijing's Olympic structures.
Day 04 Beijing ( B L )-- Summer Palace, Hutong with rickshaw, D.I.Y Chinese dumplings
After breakfast, start your morning tour with Hutong(1.5hours), from hutongs, one can discover how Beijingers, in the course of centuries, advanced from vulgarity to refinement.
Hutong:
Many famous operas and dramas are based on the themes of the "hutong life". A When urban construction threatens the existence of these hutongs, some Beijingers become worried. We trust that a "must see" hutong tour will greatly help you know more about Beijing history and culture. Visit a local family and learn about Chinese Martial arts & D.I.Y Chinese dumplings, you will get to enjoy these with other Chinese dishes will be your lunch.
Visit to the Summer Palace(2hours), originally a royal garden and a temporary dwelling palace for emperors of Qing Dynasty.
Summer Palace:
The Summer Palace has three main sections including the political active region, living section and visiting area. The serious and imperatorial Renshou Hall is the representative of the political area in Summer Palace.The palace features hundreds of architecturally distinct buildings, halls, pavilions, pagodas, bridges and corridors dispersed among magnificent and elegant gardens.
Day 05 Beijing ( B L )-- Temple of heaven, 798 Art District, Houhai
Visit the Temple of heaven(1.5hours), the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and good harvest.
Temple of heaven:
The Temple of Heaven was the place where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for good harvests. They came here twice a year, on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month and on Winter Solstice. At first, both heaven and earth were worshipped here. Following the construction of the Temple of Earth in 1530 in the north of Beijing, only heaven was worshipped in this temple. The temple is considered a Taoist temple, although Chinese heaven worship predates Taoism.

Then proceed to the 798 Art District(1.5hours) or Factory 798 is only one of several structures within a complex formerly known as Joint Factory 718. Visit Houhai(2hours), is a lake and its surrounding district in central Beijing, one of the three parts of Shichahai.Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour.
798 Art District:
The name of 798 Art District comes from the name of Beijing state-run electronic industry old area.The voluminous factory workshops are ideally suited to art galleries that require space for multimedia installations and other ambitious projects.
Houhai:
In recent years it has become famous for nightlife because it is home to many popular restaurants, bars, and cafes.The area is especially popular with foreign tourists visiting Beijing, but is also often visited by the expatriate community and younger locals.
Day 06 Beijing ( B )
After breakfast, free and easy until transfer to airport for departure flight.
