Day 01Arrival in Beijing

On arrival in Beijing, you will be meet by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel in Beijing.Relax during the remainder of the afternoon and evening to recover from the jet lag.

Day 02Beijing ( L )-- Forbidden City,Temple of Heaven,Summer Palace

Pick up from your hotel lobby at 8:30 am. First visit Tiananmen Square(40 minutes). Then move on to the Imperial Palace, also known as the Forbidden City(2 hours), the largest and best preserved ancient imperial palaces group with 500 years history. The palace was built between 1406 and 1420, but was burnt down, rebuilt, sacked and renovated countless times, so most of the architecture you can see today dates from the 1700's and onwards. Then proceed to the Temple of Heaven(1.5 hours), the place where the Emperors prayed for peace and harvest. It is located in the southern part of Beijing, and had been one of the most holy places for the whole country for more than five centuries. It used as a complex of sacrificial buildings for the Ming and Qing emperors.

Tiananmen square:

Tiananmen Square -The biggest downtown Square of the world,where you can visit Tiananmen Tower, Monument to the People's Heroes, Great Hall of the People, Mao Zedong Memorial Hall and see the national flag raising ceremony. Thousands of people come to the Square every day. It is the must place to visit in Beijing City.

Forbidden city:

Forbidden City is one of most popular tourism destination for the tourists from home and aboard, it is really a must see in Beijing, your Beijing trip is not complete without visiting it, the forbidden city a showcase for Chinese architecture and Chinese history. You can also learn a lot of the Chinese culture in it, how the emperor's life is like, what are the imperial court is like, everything there is so impressive, definitely you can't miss it.The Forbidden City is China's largest and best-preserved complex of ancient buildings.

Lunch at a special characteristic restaurant.

After lunch, visit the Summer Palace(2 hours), one of China's largest imperial garden. Summer Palace was originally a royal garden and a temporary dwelling palace for emperors of Qing Dynasty, its predecessor was the Garden of Clear Ripples (Qingyiyuan) started in 1750 and burned down by the British and French allied troops in 1860. Back to your hotel.

Summer Palace:

The Summer Palace has three main sections including the political active region, living section and visiting area. The serious and imperatorial Renshou Hall is the representative of the political area in Summer Palace.The palace features hundreds of architecturally distinct buildings, halls, pavilions, pagodas, bridges and corridors dispersed among magnificent and elegant gardens.

Day 03Beijing( L )-- Gaobeidian Village

Pick up from your hotel lobby at 8:30 am. First visit the Guo Shoujing in front of Gaobeidian Village(40 minutes).According to historical records from the first emperor of Yuan Dynasty to the 28th year of Yuan(A.D 1291),Guoshoujing,water transport superintendent took orders to build water conservancy project,and completed it in the autumn of 30th year of Yuan Dynasty, the river named Tong Hui. Then visit to the Memorial Site of Pingjin Sluice Gate.Appreciate the features of sluice gate with one-thousand-year history and feel the cultrue of water transportation. Transfer to visit the Classical Furniture Street. Wander through over fur-hundred shops and feel extensive and profound furniture culture in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Lunch at local family.

After lunch to visit learn about Chinese calligraphy writing(40 minutes) and learn Traditional Chinese exercise Taiji performance at the village(1.5hours),after learn return to your hotel.

Day 04Beijing( B )

After breakfast, transfer to beijing airport for departure or free activity on your own.
