Pick up from your hotel lobby at 8:30am. Transfer to Hutong area by car, walk to explore the most beautiful Hutong area in Beijing. Sightseeing of inner Hutong by rickshaw(40 minutes). Visit a local family(1hour) and learn about Chinese calligraphy writing & Painting(1hour). Hands-on D.I.Y Chinese dumplings(2hours) at the local family, enjoy these with other Chinese dishes and this will be your lunch. 

In the afternoon, visit to the local family learn the Art of paper folding(1hour) and learn kite making(1hour). Return to your hotel.

Learn about the history of Chinese kites. From preparing the frame with thin bamboo sticks, to attaching the paper, to painting your kite, you will create your own beautiful Chinese kite. The kite is widely recognized as having originated in China.one can safely say that the origin of the Chinese kite is synonymous with the origin of the kite, period. The first kites were what we today would call prototype kites: they were made of light wood and formed in the shape of a bird.
