Picked up from your hotel, first stop would be the Great Wall at Badaling(2 hours),80km away from the city, you may visit the Badaling National Forest Park on the way.

Badaling Great Wall:

Badaling Great Wall, a most famous section of the Great Wall, is located at Yanqing County in Beijing. Longqing Gorge sits at Yanqing County as well as Badaling Great Wall, so Longqing Gorge also attracts large number of tourists after Badaling Great Wall. Badaling, literally meaning "reach eight directions", got its name because the maze of its ridges stretches in all directions. Badaling Great Wall is the most important section and earliest section opened to public of the Great Wall. These states were ruled by the Zhou Dynasty (1045-256 BC) kings operating a feudal system.

After hiking at the Great Wall, have a rest and lunch will be Chinese food. Then move on to Badaling National Forest Park (2hours),Badaling National Forest Park is located at an altitude slightly higher than other Beijing attractions and is well known for the red leaves festival that takes place there. The duration of Red Leaves Festival at Badaling Forest Park is usually about 2 weeks long. The best time for viewing the festival is from September 28 to the 25th of October. Go back to the hotel.
