Pick up at 09:00 and drive all the way to the Ancient Village (100KM), Cuandixia, which means stove in Chinese. Enjoy the beautiful countryside of the city en route.

Cuandixia Village is a place of gorgeous cluster of historic courtyard homes and old-world charm. The backdrop is very lovely: terraced orchards and fields, with ancient houses and alleyways rising up the hillside. It is also a popular place with film makers. Several famous Chinese directors and actors have been there to shoot movies, such as Jet Li and Zhang Yi Mou (Director of the opening ceremony of 2008 Olympics). It is also a museum of Maoist graffiti and slogans; especially up the incline among the better-preserved houses. We will also have lunch at the farmer's house (the best restaurant in the village) to savor the local flavor.

Drive back the city and walk around the Olympic Village to see the Bird's Nest and Water Cube.
