Thanh Toan tile-roofed is about 7 km from Hue city centre to the east in Thuy Thanh commune, Huong Thuy district. This bridge is an arched wooden bridge, 17m long and 4m wide, and is roofed with tiles. This is the first wooden bridge built over two centuries ago by Mrs. Tran Thi Dao, the wife of a high rank Mandarin under the reign of king Le Hien Tong. The bridge was devastated by storms, floods and wars, and was repaired and renovated many times in the past. Nowadays, the bridge attracts lots of tourists because of its old architecture and historical and cultural values.

08.30:Our tourguide pick you up at your hotel to get started cycle to the villages! You will be pedalling on the green shaded roads, passing by the communal houses along the rivers, canals and thru’ the rice fields to head Thanh Toan bridge. Remember to record your route by camera to get a special beautiful countryside of  Thanh Toan Bridge.

9.30: On arrival at Thuy Thanh village, free shopping at local market, following by a visit to the Agricultural Museum to learn about the tools using by farmers in Vietnam (ploughs, sickles, hoes, rice-hulling mills, etc). Join the folkgames for fun. Enjoy a boat cruise along the canals around the village to see the daily life of the kind-hearted people. Join hand in some agricultural activities are optional. At around 10h30 we return to the city with full memories typical rural life of Viet Nam, then we have lunch in a nice local garden restaurant.

13.30: Continue the trip, we bike to visit Imperial Citadel  stared in 1805 under the reign of Emperor Gia Long and completed in 1832 under the reign of Emperor Ming Mang. Under Nguyen’s reign, Kings have ordered to build ramparts, palaces and constructional works of royal. Over 200 years to now, it is still original with nearly 140 small and large constructions.

15.00: We head to Thien Mu Pagoda Thien Mu Pagoda (namely Heaven Fairy Lady Pagoda), also known as Linh Mu Pagoda, is one of the most fascinating and ancient pagoda in Hue city. It is situated on Ha Khe hill, on the north bank of the Perfume River, in Huong Long village, 5 kilometers from Hue city.

16.00 Take a boat trip from Thien Mu down to the city and finish the tour
