Introduction

Cu Chi Tunnel is about 55 km away from the centre of ho chi minh city or saigon. During the Vietnam War period. Cu Chi was a Viet Cong military base , It was called a free fire zone. In the sky, B52 bombers , fighter bombers dropped a lot of phosphorous bombs into the Cu Chi. On the ground, tanks , amor personnel carriers and bulldozers leveled everything. To fight against the enemy and exist in Cu Chi, Viet Cong guerillas had to dig the tunnel. The tunnel complex was over 250 km long. Joining the tour, you have a chance learning about the Vietnam War.

Itinerary:

In the morning, driver and tour guide will pick you up in Ho Chi Minh city centre,then  take you to the Cu Chi tunnel about one hour and a half. At the Tunnel , you watch a 30 minute film about the Viet Cong guerilla and his way of fighting the enemy then tour guide tells you a little about the Cu Chi tunnel through the map and battlefield model. you walk along the path of the forest to see secret entrances , bamboo traps , fighting trenches , air - holes and etc. and enjoy tea and viet cong food tapioca. If you want to know about  how the tunnel feels, you can crawl about 20 meters to 40 meters in the tunnel. Before returning our start location of the tour, you have lunch with Vietnamese food at local restaurant.
