Day 1 Guiyang

Arrive at Guiyang. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to the hotel.

The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.

Day 2 Guiyang - Kaili (by automobile)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

In the morning, take an excursion to Qingyan Ancient Town, a town completely constructed with stones. Visitors may have the chance to see well-preserved stone-slab lanes, archways, watchtowers and battlements.

Then take a car ride to Kaili (about 3 hours) and explore Langde Miao Village. A large number of old wooden Diaojiaolou buildings（Wooden Stilted Houses）are well preserved here. Besides, their traditional welcoming ceremony is the most distinguished, in which guests are allowed in only after drinking wines.

Day 3 Kaili - Zhaoxing (by automobile)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

In the morning, pay a visit to Jidao Miao Village. Being a generational settlement of the long-skirt Miao, Jidao Miao Village remains original, remote and tranquil. It is also famous for home-made wine.

Then take a car drive(about 3.5 hours) to Zhaoxing Dong Village, which has a history of nearly 2000 years. Currently it's the home to over 4,000 Dong Minority dwellers, long been called "The 1st Village on the Land of Dong". Overnight in Zhaoxing.

Day 4 Zhaoxing - Sanjiang - Longsheng (by automobile)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast, take car ride (about 3.5 hours) to Sanjiang. Enjoy the natural view all along the way, until you reach the Chengyang Village Clusters -- eight villages in a small river valley in hilly country about five hours' drive northwest of Guilin. The township is a farming community with tea plantations in the hills and fields next to the river.

Then admire the Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge. The bridge is made of wood and stone, like a brilliant rainbow. The amazing construction lies in that no nails were used in the building of the whole bridge; pieces of wood in the bridge are closely jointed.

Take a 2.5 hour's car ride to Longsheng for overnight.

Day 5 Longsheng - Guilin (by automobile)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast take a tour to the spectacular Longji (Dragon's Backbone) Terraced Rice Fields, one of China's best known scenic landscapes. In spring, when the terraces are full of water, they resemble irregular silver ladders; and in autumn, when the rice ripens, the mountains turn into golden waves. Experience the unique culture of local minorities and their villages where life has remained unchanged for thousands of years.

Then take a car ride to Guilin (about 2 hours).
