Day 01  Arrival In Kunming

Upon your arrival in the Kunming airport or train station, our guide will pick you up and transfer to your hotel. Visit the Bamboo Monastery if time permits.

Bamboo Monastery: A Tang Dynasty (618-907 A.D.) temple known for its Arhat statues, is the most famous of Kunming's temples. The present Bamboo temple was rebuilt in the Guangxu Era (1833 to 1890). 

 

Day 02  Kunming - Stone Forest - Kunming (Breakfast + Lunch)

After breakfast, drive 90 KM to Lunan County and visit the Stone Forest. Return to Kunming in the afternoon. Visit the Golden Temple.

Stone Forest: The most remarkable natural phenomena. It consists of innumerable bizarre shaped ancient limestone cliffs and peaks created by wind and water erosion some 270 million years ago.

Golden Temple: A Daoist temple, the main building of which is cast entirely in bronze weighing about 280 tons.



 

Day 03  Departure From Kunming (Breakfast + Lunch)

Tour to the Dragon Gate in Western Hills. Have lunch, then visit the Bird & Flower market. Transfer to the airport for your departure, end of service.

Western Hills: Located at the west bank of the Dianchi Lake, is set in mountains well covered by evergreen woods and filled with sweet songs by lovely birds, perfect for hiking. Dragon Gate consists of the Sanqing Temple Complex and the Dragon Gate Grotto Complex.
